Concord Street Gloucester MA
An original seasonal camp gets a new life and a contemporary loft
This house was originally a seasonal "camp" in Gloucester, MA. It was covered in asbestos and was structurally unsound. The renovation included stabilizing the foundation, taking out a central chimney to create an open floor plan, removing walls upstairs to create a roomy master bedroom/loft, and adding another bath downstairs for a first floor master as well. The house now has a brand new kitchen and 2.5 baths.

Woods Lane Ipswich MA
An Ipswich home built in 1792 gets an update, but it’s antique detail is preserved
This is a quintessential family house in a great neighborhood and on a great lot – near the river in Ipswich, MA. Nothing had been changed in this antique home in over 50 years and it was ripe for an update! On the first floor I removed walls and opened up the staircase to create an open floor plan. I also gained square footage, and valuable closet space, by enclosing and heating the back porch. Stained glass and other antique details were added to enhance the character in the home. On the second floor, I added a second full bath and a fireplace to create a comfortable master bedroom

May Street Beverly MA
This condo alternative gets a second floor master suite
This house was tucked away and ignored on a quiet side street, close to town in Beverly, MA. Creating a master suite on the entire second floor made this the perfect condo alternative. Fencing the yard and finishing a lower level walk-out room added both privacy and room to spare. A brand new kitchen and second full bathroom completed the renovation.
